Barrett defeated British countryman, Stuart Williams, 395-388, in a two-game total-pins match to successfully defend his championship in the 14th Qatar Open. The title is Barrett's fourth on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) tour and tenth on the European Bowling Tour (EBT).
The television stepladder finals started with the fourth-seeded Jones ousting fellow American Chris Barnes 255-205, then disposed second-seeded Jonas Jehkinen, Finland, 231-203, to set up the title match with Moor.
Barrett's strong November performance included a fourth place finish in the PBA Viper Championship, a sixth place posting in the PBA Chameleon Championship, both in the recent PBA World Series of Bowling (WSOB), a 37 th place showing in the PBA Round 1 Japan Cup.
Ironically, Barrett was the November 2013 IBMA Kegel Bowler of the Month, based on his PBA World Championship and WBT/EBT13 th Qatar Open victories.
Others obtaining votes in very close voting this month were Park Kyung Shim, winner of the Round 1 Japan Cup, Clara Guerrero and Chris Barnes, men's and women's winners of the 50 th QubicaAMF World Cup, Mika Koivuniemi, winner of the PBA Viper Championship, and D.J. Archer, winner of the PBA Chameleon Championship.
