Squad 13 done and dusted and this time it is Martin Larsen of Sweden, 31, the tall lithe star from Gothenburg sitting in first place
on the squad with 1381.
Getting his place in tomorrow's finals was one of the benefits of topping the squads, the other was that he outpointed PBA star Pete Weber by 28 pins, so you can't blame him for looking a little smug.
Third place was taken by Denmark's Rikke Holm Rasmussen, now second in the women's standings and 16th in the overall table. Larsen slots into eighth place.
The vital 24th place in the current standings has now upped to 1334. Those on that score and above get a lie-in tomorrow morning as those in positions 25-48 open the day's proceedings with four games, from which the top 12 will advance to round 3.
The Eurosport TV schedule has now been set for the semi-final and final from 18:30 CET. There will also be web streaming on www.tbowling.cat. Click on 'Eng' for English commentary by Keith Hale with a PBA player guest from 18:10. The home page will carry the commentary in Spanish.
