Have you ever toyed with the idea of getting into the bowling business, while at the same time living in a place of great natural beauty?
Well, the Alaska city of Kenai could provide the answer.
The 12-lane Alaska Lanes, located next door to a grocery store, has been closed since last summer, when its then-owner defaulted on lease payments to the city. Now, the city is accepting proposals from individuals or groups who are interested in using the facility, either as a bowling center or for some other commercial purpose.
Applications will be accepted through April 14, after which a selection board will make a recommendation to the Kenai City Council.
