33rd Boysen-PBC International Open

The 33rd
Boysen-PBC International Bowling Championships, 2004 will be held at the Green
Valley Country Club Bowling Center in Pasig City from May 28 to June 11,
2004.
Organized by the Philippine
Bowling Congress and sanctioned by the Asian Bowling Federation, it will be
conducted under FIQ/WTBA Playing Rules and Regulations. The Championship is an
Asian Ranking tournament towards the World Ranking Masters Finals. It
will also serve as a qualifying round towards the Philippine
Masters Cup, the Third Leg of the ABF Tour 2004, which will take place on the
12th & 13th of June, 2004.
The last four qualifying
days of the tournament have been reserved for overseas bowlers. We would like
to encouraging everyone to complete their all events on the first week. Each
bowler shall be allowed to book one attempt on the 8:00 pm squad. Additional
attempts shall be entertained, subject to availability.
As in previous years, the
Manila Galleria Suites has provided us a special room rate of $60 nett, per
room, per night, Single or Double occupancy, inclusive of daily buffet
breakfast and airport/hotel/airport transfers. The hotel has an excellent
location as it adjoins a mall and is within close proximity to the tournament
site. It will also be the venue of the victory banquet and award
ceremonies. Regularly scheduled shuttles between the official hotel and the
bowling center will be provided.

establishing a new permanent website for PBC at
www.pbc-online.org.ph.
Bowlers Journal's Keith Hale will be
covering the final two days of this event live. He will not be able to post
standings after June 6 until arrival in Manila.
