TOP 18 LADIES - FOUR GAMES:
To sum things up in a nutshell, after the 20-game standings defending champion Doris Camilleri is thrilling the home crowds by qualifying for the eight-player matchplay rounds in eighth place and previous frontrunner Farida Pascoal-Blom has been demoted to second.
Now the top honors are back with Sonja Ostlund (pictured), a 68-year-old lady from Stockholm, bowling in the Malta Senior Open for the fourth time.
Pascoal-Blom faded from the picture with a poor 722 over the last four games, whilst Ostlund came to the fore with 770.
