roll-off. Both players rolled strikes with their first balls, but Williams got
the win by hitting a double, whilst the Swede left the 10-pin with his second
shot.

FINLAND 263

Leandersson will look back at the score from this match very much regretting
leaving two big splits, the 2-10 in the second frame and the 2-4-10 in the
sixth.Lehtonen struck out from the fourth frame, albeit leaving four pins on his
final ball.
FINAL:
STUART WILLIAMS, ENGLAND 234 vs KIMMO LEHTONEN, FINLAND
176
Williams has well and truly stamped his authority on this first edition of the
2004 Super Series Tour, bettering his previous best finish by 39 places.
Lehtonen came off a 263 against Leandersson but could just not keep that pace
going. Although the two were neck and neck with just two pins dividing them in
the seventh frame, Williams got a good line and struck out.
