Top eight play four games and four qualify for
semi-finals.
Very interesting......... Two of the
two-handed players have made it through to the
semi-finals, so it could be one of those
finals again. The thought is provoking.
Jason has been up and down the leaderboard
throughout this event like the proverbial
yo-yo but the cream came to the top in the
final round.
 The
only real surprise is the appearance of Swiss
Mathieu Berges (pictured), never having
featured in a European Bowling Tour final
before. He lead the early qualifying squads
here in Istanbul and had the chance of a
perfect game last Wednesday, failing with the
final ball with a six-count. That would have
been his second career perfect game.
Stuart Williams led the penultimate round
but has the unfortunate experience of coming
fifth this time.
