MEN'S SINGLES - Short Oil
Gold for Singapore and Silver
and Bronze for Malaysia when the men took to the
lanes for their Singles discipline on Saturday
afternoon.
Shaun Ng (pictured) topped the
leader board with the highest of the only four
men to nudge the 200 average barrier, chased by
Malaysians Liew and Zulkifli, who had to settle
for silver and bronze medals.
"Lately it has been the short
oil condition that has produced the highest
scores," commented Indonesia's coach Paul Delany.
"This time it is looking as though it will be
the reverse."
That statement can be proved as
the opening squad on Sunday morning will be the
men competing in the Doubles on the long pattern
set by Kegel.
