Some of bowling’s largest bowling ball brands will come together under the lights of Las Vegas to create the first-ever Industry Showcase, to be held during Bowl Expo week, which runs from June 27-July 1.

The Industry Showcase, a result of unprecedented cooperation among Brunswick Bowling Products LLC, Ebonite International and Storm Products Inc., will be held on Tuesday, June 28, at the South Point Hotel and Casino, and will provide an electric atmosphere that will be more impactful, as well as beneficial, to pro shops, the participating companies said in a media release issued today.

“Working together to build a stronger and healthier industry is clearly important and urgent,” said Gary Hulsenberg, Director of Marketing for Storm Products. “Putting the Industry Showcase together has been an energizing process [that] those who attend are sure to feel.”

The highlight of the experience will be a joint demo providing the rare opportunity to throw the latest products from the Brunswick, Columbia 300, DV8, Ebonite, Hammer, Radical, Roto Grip, Storm, Track and 900 Global brands simultaneously.

Additionally, educational seminars will be available that will focus on pro shop education. The content of these seminars is currently being finalized.

“Bowl Expo is the official kick-off to the bowling season and we are working together to create one spectacular event,” said Brian Graham, Senior Director of Consumer Products for Brunswick. “This will be a must-attend [event] for all pro shops.”

Mike Judy, the North American Sales Manager for Ebonite International, echoed these thoughts.

“Bowl Expo is our industry’s single largest trade show event,” said Judy. “In conjunction with this event, we are excited to partner up to conduct the first Industry Showcase for pro shops. The health and viability of pro shops is vital to the growth of the sport of bowling, and we feel partnering to present this event is a great way to further that goal.”

Pro shops should be on the lookout for further information, including registration and full event details, to be delivered both electronically and via mail.
