Condos will replace cocktails on the site of Bowlmor Lanes in the heart of New York’s Greenwich Village.
The center — the first to be purchased by Tom Shannon of today’s Bowlmor AMF — closed on July 7 after the building’s landlord opted not to renew the lease. Dismantling of the lanes began shortly after the last ball was thrown… and another iconic bowling facility, this one dating back to 1938… is gone.
