66 Bowl in Oklahoma City, a historic site along America’s historic Route 66, has closed.

It was sold for $1.4 million to Spices of India, which plans to move into the building, relocating from its current location in a nearby shopping mall.

This Friday, memorabilia from the center — including its big neon street sign — will be put up for auction. According to the center’s new owners, online bidding will be accepted.
